Postdoc-Ass. Dr Daniela Steflitsch has worked intensively on Critical Math Education in her doctoral thesis and analysed the effects and challenges of this approach. Her research led to valuable insights at the level of students and teachers. Working closely with schools, she gained extensive experience that is now being incorporated into and enriching the current research project.
Sandra Friederike Wieser, BEd MEd
Sandra Friederike Wieser, BEd MEd, is a doctoral student at the Department of Mathematics Education at the University of Klagenfurt. As part of her bachelor's and master's thesis, she focussed on topics relevant to everyday life and developed suitable teaching materials. In her doctoral thesis, she is researching which topics are of particular interest to students in maths lessons and how cross-curricular content can be successfully integrated into lessons.
Mag. Katrin Kanatschnig, MEd
Mag Katrin Kanatschnig has more than ten years of professional experience as a teacher and lecturer at the University College of Teacher Education Carinthia and the University of Klagenfurt. She has also worked as an item writer for the SRDP Maths. With her expertise in the development of competence-orientated tasks and her practical knowledge from everyday school life, she enriches the team significantly.

Dr. Pete Wright
Dr Pete Wright is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Dundee and works closely with teachers to develop mathematics education by co-creating learning materials that incorporate socially relevant and social justice contexts. He brings his expertise to data collection and task development.
