As part of the mini-symposium Mathematics and Society Daniela Steflitsch and Sandra Wieser presented insights into their research on the difficulties students have in linking social and mathematical topics. The exchange with subject didactics experts and mathematics specialists opened up exciting new approaches and led to enriching discussions.
